Snippets from the Beach

Every Thanksgiving, my family and I journey twelve hours by car from Virginia to Cocoa Beach, Florida. This year, due to health restrictions, I spent a great deal of time resting but, I did manage to sneak out for a few exciting excursions. Here are some of favorite moments…

Pan of Cocoa Beach Sunrise

This was the view from my balcony at sunrise. Not a bad way to start the day. 🙂

The Awesome Writers

The annual Sunday dinner at my favorite Thai restaurant with these fabulous writers Abigail Sharpe, Madeline Martin, Lena Diaz, Sheila Athens, Priscilla Kissinger, and Charlee Allden.

My True Love

The love of my life poses for a selfie with me on the beach.

Me and the Egyptian

I found an Egyptian King in Cocoa Beach!

Sunset in Satellite Beach

My true love knew I wanted to capture a picture of a sunset and made it happen.

Happiest Chester

My puppy on the beach!

When I wasn’t snapping these photos, I spent a great deal of time in bed reading. I just finished Guidebook to Murder by Lynn Cahoon. A cozy mystery that’s worth the read! In fact, I liked it so much, I’m on book two, Mission to Murder. If you’re looking for a fun mystery, pick them up. They’re just the beginning of a series that’s well into it’s fifth book!

Speaking of reading, I’m working on a new story. Hopefully, I have more to tell you in the New Year!

Happy Reading!!
