Hi crifted readers! I hope all y’all survived the holidays. It was a whirlwind in my part of Virginia but a good one. Full of laughter, tasty treats, and family. Now it’s back to work for me. For those who don’t know. My holiday tends to run well into late January. 😉
I’m busily working on The Griffin Murders (working title) and should be finished the first draft in about four weeks. In the meantime, I have a couple of appearances scheduled.
The first is Mysterypalooza sponsored by the Central Virginia chapter of Sisters in Crime where I’ll be speaking on the panel, Pathways to Publication, with Tracey Livesay, Mary Burton, Mollie Cox Bryan, and LynDee Walker. Other fantastic authors speaking that day include Tina Glasneck, Rosemary Stevens, Maggie King, Heather Weidner, Rosemary Shomaker, and Kristin, Kisska!
Then in May I’ll be on a panel with more award-winning and bestselling authors! (I’m so honored to be included with these amazing writers!) The panel will consist of Avery Flynn, Kimberly Kincaid, and Tracey Livesay and me. We’ll discussing the ins and outs of writing and publishing and our four different approaches to publication. It will fun, informative and there will be a basket of books given away!
Finally, I’m thrilled to announce, SHOULD YOU QUIT YOUR DAY JOB panel, has been selected for RWA17 in Orlando, Florida this summer. I’ll be on the panel with award-winning and best-selling authors, Valerie Bowman, Sonali Dev, and Grace Burrows.
That’s all the news I have for now!
