Every Thanksgiving, my family and I journey twelve hours by car from Virginia to Cocoa Beach, Florida. This year, due to health restrictions, I spent a great deal of time resting but, I did manage to sneak out for a few exciting excursions. Here are some of favorite moments…
This was the view from my balcony at sunrise. Not a bad way to start the day.
The love of my life poses for a selfie with me on the beach.
I found an Egyptian King in Cocoa Beach!
My true love knew I wanted to capture a picture of a sunset and made it happen.
My puppy on the beach!
When I wasn’t snapping these photos, I spent a great deal of time in bed reading. I just finished Guidebook to Murder by Lynn Cahoon. A cozy mystery that’s worth the read! In fact, I liked it so much, I’m on book two, Mission to Murder. If you’re looking for a fun mystery, pick them up. They’re just the beginning of a series that’s well into it’s fifth book!
Speaking of reading, I’m working on a new story. Hopefully, I have more to tell you in the New Year!
